The AIS Inspector 360 facilitates 360 degree inspection of small cylindrical products at production speeds. Products are manually placed in the secure jig of the Inspector 360, five units at a time. Once in place the operator then initiates the verification process, a servo-motor driven product-jig then moves each product through our 360 degree mirror assembly, creating a full 360 degree image of each product on screen.
Each image is analysed by our powerful software in milliseconds and a decision is made on customer-defined inspection criteria, diameter, length, surface damage, colour, aperture location, OCR/OCV etc. If there is an error with the product the system is stopped, the error is clearly display on the screen and the alarm is raised.
