Project Co-ordinator

AIS Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Project co-ordinator who will run, administer, and organise all project activities in cooperation with and, under the direction of, the General Manager, aiming for a flawless execution of the project. 

You will need to co-ordinate and communicate both internally with the Engineering Department and externally with customers to monitor and track progress and ensure projects are delivered on time. 

This is an office-based part-time role (you will need to be in the office 5 days per wk). Number of hours to be determined with candidate, ideally 25. A permanent contract is on offer. 

Our Requirements

  • To fill this position, you will have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role – managing projects or similar in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient IT skills- Microsoft Office in particular. Knowledge of Monday.com would be a distinct advantage.
  • We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills who are team players with an ability to manage their own workload.
  •  You will need to liaise closely with all parties to ensure that deadlines are met.
  •  Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

Sales Engineer

The role:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling our product ranges to a variety of different sectors, including manufacturing, life sciences and food and beverage in the Munster and Connacht regions.

You will mainly be selling to Engineers in a role that will focus on servicing our many existing clients, coupled with new business development and proactive work.

Our Requirements:

  • To fill the position as a Field Sales Engineer we are looking for someone with extensive field sales experience, ideally in a similar industry.
  • The ideal candidate must be pro-active (consistently in touch with our key customers) and a good relationship builder.
  • We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills who are driven, ambitious, self- motivated and team players.
  • A full driving licence and fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • You will be required to work within ISO 9001:2015 framework. (Training will be provided).
  • You must be able to commute to our Dublin office daily (split is typically 2 days per week in the office, 3 on the road after the training period)

Pre-Sales Installation Engineer (Software)

The Role

The Presales/Installation Engineer is responsible for recommending and installing technical solutions for new & existing large end user (‘Enterprise’) customers including the development of label designs and solution specification on desktops, through to multi-site, globally deployed web and Cloud platforms – often interfacing with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsible for managing the pre-sales and installation process with customers the Presales/Installation Engineer must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio to both business and technical users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the company to meet its revenue and P&L objectives.
  • Working closely with the sales team to gather customer requirements, sample data and define specific scenarios via remote sessions or on-site customer visits.
  • Supporting sales team in presales stage and offer preparation.
  • Identifying solution components, unique benefits, differentiators, ROI and prepare presentations, demonstrations and proposals
  • Coordinating with sales team to clarify and advise on client’s requirements.
  • Collaborating with partner technical teams in identifying, qualifying and evaluating technical solution design.
  • Assisting in the development of presentations, tools as well as growing any existing relationships.
  • Providing specialist product insight into solutions development to support Sales teams, analysing end customer needs and proposing the optimal solutions achievable with our partner products.
  • Coordination, preparation and execution of customised product trainings

  • Familiarity with the systems development life cycle (SDLC), object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and scripting experience (python and/or VBScript preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio

Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our world-class Projects Engineering team.  This is an exciting and varied position, the successful candidate will be working with other Engineers within the projects team, delivering automation solutions to manufacturing companies all over Ireland and abroad.

Duties include:

  • CAD drawing. Mechanical bracketry and Project concepts.
  • Designing mechanical solutions to allow our machines integrate into third party production lines.
  • Specifying mechanical components for projects.
  • Working as part of the projects team to deliver world class automation systems.
  • Site visits for evaluating, installation and testing of mechanical automation systems.

Full Training will be provided.


  • Diploma or Degree in a Mechanical discipline plus 2 years working experience.
  • 2 years experience, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Full drivers licence preferable.
