Workshop Technician

AIS Ltd are looking for a hard-working and capable Workshop Technician for a permanent role in their Dublin office. 
This is an office-based full-time role.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In-house customer repairs - printers, barcode scanners etc.
  • Customer support (emails/calls).
  • Support of Project Engineers – assist in assembling project machines ¬before they ship to customers.
  • Maintain a clean workshop environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining sufficient level of workshop parts.

Requirements:

  • NCEA Certificate in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering an advantage but not required. AIS will facilitate further education in this area for a suitable candidate.
  • Experience working in testing / debugging / repairs roles.
  • It would be an advantage if the candidate had experience with electrical drawings.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Applicants should have full working status for Ireland.

Service Technician – West of Ireland

AIS Ltd are looking for a Service Technician to join their team to cover the West of Ireland territory.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • On site installation, service and repair of industrial printing and labelling equipment. 
  • Provide customers with telephone support.
  • Support of Project Engineers on larger installations. 
  • Complete Preventive Maintenance services on equipment at customers sites.

 
Requirements:

  • NCEA Certificate in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering an advantage but not required. AIS will facilitate further education in this area for a suitable candidate.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  The role will require frequent travel to customer sites in the West of Ireland. Occasional international travel.
  •  Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Applicants should have full working status for Ireland.
  • Full driver's licence required.
