Workshop Technician - Dublin

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In-house repairs.
  • Maintain clean workshop environment.
  • Support of Project Engineers.
  • Responsible for maintaining sufficient level of stock/spare parts.

Requirements:

  • NCEA Certificate in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering an advantage but not required. AIS will facilitate further education in this area for a suitable candidate.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team assisting Project Engineers.
  • In-house training provided.

Project Engineer - Dublin

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Installation set-up and testing of equipment.
  • Equipment installation, commissioning and servicing.
  • Customer technical support
  • Customer visits with Sales Engineers.

Requirements:

  • NCEA Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience an advantage.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In house training provided.
  • Knowledge of Label Printing / Application / Scanning / Vision System an advantage.
  • The role will require frequent travel to customer sites around the country. Occasional international travel.
  • Full driver's licence required.

Company vehicle, laptop and phone will be provided.

Technical Writer (Validation Documentation)

Part-Time (20 hours per week, flexible)

AIS ltd are looking for a Technical Writer to write/edit typical validation (FDS, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) documents for the packaging automation systems we supply to our multi-national customers. AIS ltd supply the world’s leading life science manufacturing companies with a range of hardware and software-based end-of-line packaging (labelling, barcoding, software/data collection, vision inspection) systems. Working with our excellent Projects team and Reporting to our Technical Director, this position would suit a candidate who is not looking for a full-time office-based position, a lot of the work could be done from home, although visits to the (Dublin) office and the occasional customer (Ireland only) visit would also be required.
