In December 2015 AIS Ltd installed another two high speed Herma TE labelling machines in a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility near Dublin. Both production lines have been fully upgraded with TE Labelling and Serialisation solutions in response to the Falsified Medicines Directive.
TE labels are automatically applied to both ends of a range of product cartons at speeds of up to 200 ppm, the TE labels are then wiped down at either end ensuring the product carton cannot be opened without permanently spoiling the TE label.
