The Zebra ZD620 range of label printers offers two separate models. The ZD620d is a direct thermal label printer and the ZD620t is a thermal transfer label printer. These new label printers have been designed to meet a large number of requirements as well as being designed to handle all the needs of any business.
These new label printers integrate the high quality printing used for industrial printing into a remote desktop size printer. Zebra ZD620d Label Printers
These label printers only use direct thermal labels and this means that a ribbon is not required. The ribbon spindles have been omitted from the design making it smaller and more compact. The ZD620d series of label printers are approximately 5.9 inches in height and only 8.7 inches in length. They also weigh just 3.6 lbs.
Zebra ZD620t Label Printers
The ZD620t series of label printers are larger than the ZD620d models because these printers require the use of a ribbon. This means that the ribbon spindles inside the printer will add to the overall dimensions of the device. The height of this model is 7.5 inches and the length is 10.5 inches. It is however still very light at just 5.5 lbs in weight.
The Zebra ZD620 range of label printers come with a maximum print speed of up to 8 inches per second. This will depend on the resolution settings. The ZD620 range of label printers also come with an LCD screen and a print touch feature that will work with any near-field communication (NFC) smartphone or tablet.
Caring for Label Printers
Whatever model you choose to purchase, every label printer will require cleaning and regular maintenance.
