Programmable Data Terminals
The Orby Series of programmable data terminals are designed to facilitate a range of functions including the remote programming of fixed mount bar code scanners. Most fixed mount (or embedded) barcode scanners can store a "match" code in their memory which allows the scanner to compare its last scanned code with the match code. After each scan the fixed scanner can make a decision (stop conveyer, reject product Etc) without the use of an external controller. The Orby range are designed to be programmed to meet our customers specific requirement - you tell us what you want it to do, we program it in the factory and it arrives ready to go.
